Bank of the Pacific recently announced that Eric Bjella has been hired to fill the position of Vice President Marketing Manager.
Bjella earned his BBA with a concentration in marketing at the University of Minnesota. He graduated from National Commercial Lending School and is a career banker with 25 years experience in bank operations and lending, as well as serving in the capacity of marketing director for the past 12 years for First Bank, a community bank serving southeast Alaska.
"First Bank and Bank of the Pacific have similar asset size, a diverse economic and customer base, and attitudes towards excellent customer service standards," Bjella said.
"I look forward to contributing to the ongoing success and growth Bank of the Pacific has enjoyed over the past few years," he added.
Bjella replaces Todd Christensen who accepted a position as CEO of the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce.
Bank of the Pacific has 17 branch locations, serving Grays Harbor, Pacific, Skagit, Wahkiakum and Whatcom counties in Washington and Clatsop County in northwest Oregon. Bank of the Pacific is a member of FDIC and an Equal Housing Lender.
