Columbia Memorial Hospital in Astoria recently announced two promotions from within the organization.

Shauna Creechley has accepted the position of Executive Assistant at CMH.

Erik Thorsen, CEO for the hospital, voiced enthusiasm for Creechley.

"I am sure that Shauna will do an outstanding job in this position.  Shauna has served in multiple billing department roles over the past eight years and is ready to take on a new challenge," Thorsen said.

Teri Banta was recently named to the post of maternity services manager for the hospital.

"We are very pleased that we were able to find such a quality candidate in our own department.  It is great that we were able to promote from within. Teri is a great example of the quality employees we are so fortunate to have working for us," Thorsen said.

Banta has worked for CMH for the past 17 years. She resides in Astoria.
