Coastal Family Health Center recently announced the addition of Dr. Samuel Suk to their staff. Suk began operating from the clinic on June 15.
CEO Jim Coffee said that Suk’s experience as an independent physician will help at CFHC.
"Having spent time working for himself in a private practice will really provide him insight into the need for efficiency and the ability to take care of people in a timely manner," he said.
Coffee and Suk have been deliberating over the idea of bringing Suk into the clinic for quite some time.
"We have actually spent about six or seven months discussing the possibility of him coming to join us," Coffee said.
Coast Family Health Center’s mission according to its Web site is to provide "access to high quality, culturally appropriate, and comprehensive health care to all people in our service area regardless of ability to pay."
