The City of Seaside Visitors Bureau is accepting applications for their tourism grant program.
The city is seeking tourism project funding requests from businesses and organizations that produce programs or events designed to increase overnight visits to Seaside, promote tourist attractions or develop programs targeted to visitors, especially in the shoulder season [Fall and Spring] and winter months.
About $30,000 will be available in this year’s grant cycle for fiscal year 2009-10. Funds are generated through room taxes and are administered by the director of tourism.
The city is accepting applications for projects or events occurring between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2010. The Tourism Advisory Committee will review proposals.
