Harried business travelers face numerous hurdles in the quest to get somewhere fast these days.
The morass of airline and TSA regulations and fees seems to grow more challenging every day. Not to mention the chore of packing enough - but not too much - to be well-prepared for a trip.
A seminar in April in Warrenton will help travelers negotiate such evolving travel terrain, find bargains and travel lighter.
It’s called "Pack It Up" - a workshop by nationally-known travel expert and author Anne McAlpin.
McAlpin, who grew up in Astoria, will show travelers how to get the most from their dollars, and she’ll address questions about airline security and regulations in a post 9/11 world. She’ll also talk about how to avoid checked baggage fees by packing smart.
The "Pack It Up" workshop, presented by travel organization AAA, is happening Wednesday, April 22 at the Shilo Inn, 1609 East Harbor Drive, at 10 am and 2 pm.
