A perceived market opportunity led Julie and David Woods of Raymond to establish Floorcrafters, a sizable floor and tile store in this north Pacific County town.
"We knew people who were going to Chehalis and Longview for their flooring needs, even from the Long Beach Peninsula. We felt we could meet that need," said Julie Woods.
In the flooring industry for over 19 years, the Woods moved to Raymond a little over six years ago. Prior to opening the store in late December, the duo ran a flooring installation business from their home.
The 3,600 sq. ft. showroom features samples of Floorcrafters various product lines, including carpet, linoleum, laminate flooring, vinyl ceramic tile, natural stone, and cork. Installation is available.
Floorcrafters is located at 350 Blake Street. Hours of operation are Tuesday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. After-hours appointments can be made. For more information call (360) 942-3500.
