U.S. Bank has recently named new managers to its Cannon Beach and Tillamook branches.
Elaine Norling is now heading up the Cannon Beach branch, and Alma Baxter was named to lead the Tillamook office.
Norling, a Seaside resident for 22 years, has been in the banking industry for over 25 years, much of the time working in Seaside. For the last year and a half she has worked in U.S. Bank’s Astoria branch.
"My job will be to find new business for the bank, and find financial solutions for both businesses and consumers," Norling said.
Baxter, who has been with U.S. Bank since 2004, previously managed its Cloverdale office. Baxter is a relative newcomer to the area; she moved to Tillamook in 2000 and recently bought a home near Sand Lake.
"I’ve lived all over the country, but most of the time in Wyoming. I moved to Oregon because there are trees, mountains and an ocean — something I didn’t have in Wyoming," she said.
Baxter hopes to help businesses grow through her new role in the Tillamook office.
I want to help newer and start-up businesses get the tools they need to succeed," she said.
U.S. Bank’s Tillamook branch is located at 408 Main, and its Cannon Beach branch is at 115 N. Hemlock.
